No accounts, analytics, or tracking
WindowBuddy does not require an account, include advertising, use analytics, or build a profile about you. We do not sell or share personal information.
Accessibility stays on your Mac
WindowBuddy uses macOS Accessibility permission solely to identify, move, and resize windows at your request. Window titles, app activity, layouts, and keyboard shortcuts are processed locally and are not transmitted to us.
Settings stay local
Your preferences, custom shortcuts, command regions, and ignored-app list are stored on your Mac. Removing WindowBuddy does not send that information anywhere.
Update checks
The built-in updater checks windowbuddy.app for a signed version feed and downloads releases from GitHub. Those services may receive standard connection information, such as an IP address, as part of serving the request.
This website
The WindowBuddy website does not use analytics, advertising pixels, or tracking cookies. Its hosting provider may retain ordinary server logs needed to operate and secure the site.
